The Cat Sith or Cat Sidhe is a mythical cat that was believed by Celtic cultures to roam the Scottish Highlands. It is purported to steal the souls of the recently departed if certain precautions are not observed. On Samhain it was customary to leave a saucer of milk out for the Cat Sith in order to obtain a blessing, otherwise the cows might go dry. This beast appears as a black cat with a white marking on its chest. I have drawn this legendary black cat in soft pastel with yellow eyes and purple accents on a gray tinted paper.
