The Norse god, Odin, was fabled to receive news of happenings in Midgard from a pair of ravens named Huginn and Muninn. I have drawn these avian messengers in charcoal pencil on a muted pale blue paper. I chose charcoal for this work because it is an ancient medium appropriate to the mythic subject.
