This artwork depicts a sweet faced juvenile seal that can be found on the shores of the North Atlantic. The work is created in soft pastel using warm grays, buff hues with black and accented in blue on a taupe beige colored paper. A reference photograph was kindly provided for my use by fellow artist, Janice Drew.
